Throughout the film, Muhammad Ali's actual fight sequences are inter-cut into the story.

Coley and Gashade start the journey with the woman, and they are joined by bounty hunter Billy Spear (Jack Nicholson). They begin to suspect that the woman is trailing someone but are unsure of who it is, but they continue the trek only to be shocked by what they find. This is a Western with an ending you will remember.
