Jim Carrey's slapstick humor reigns over this story in which he plays a very meek Rhode Island state trooper, Charlie Baileygates. Enter Irene (Renee Zellweger), a prisoner assigned to Charlie to deliver to a New York police station. Things go from bad to worse, and diehard Carrey fans will enjoy it.
