A good film directed by Fernando Trueba who also Directed the Academy Award-winning "Belle Epoque."

Louka's life as a womanizer is in jeopardy as he tries to juggle a parade of women with his new responsibilities as a father. The film received an Oscar for Best Foreign Film.

When Claudia becomes pregnant, she loses the baby and decides to get rid of Lilli by having her brother Gustav (Miroslav Taborsky) kill Lilli in the forest. Instead, Gustav kills a pig and tells Claudia that the pig's heart is Lilli's. Claudia believes him, but Frederick goes off to search for Lilli in the forest.
