Fifteen years after the incident the brothers are reunited when Tanner asks Johnny to vouch for him at the parole office–not telling Johnny the office is not in California, but in Florida. So off they go, with 12 bucks in cash, learning a lot about each other on the cross-country trip.

Along the way, Mulan realizes that the princesses are being forced into loveless marriages and decides to help them escape their fate.
