  In this film, the third in the "Omen" series, Sam Neill plays Damien the Antichrist who rises to power as the wealthy head of Thom Industries, the world's largest multinational corporation. He is also an ambassador to England and heads an international youth council from which he gains followers to perform his evil deeds. When Damien sees a sign indicating the second coming of Christ on March 24th, in an effort to track down a reborn Jesus, he orders his followers to kill as many babies as possible who were born on that date. Matters come to a head when a band of Italian monks try to stop the killings and set out to assassinate Damien.

  In this remake of "Thunderball" (1965), James Bond is back, and this time it is Sean Connery playing the indomitable Agent 007. SPECTRE has stolen two cruise missiles from the U.S. and is planning to use them in its plot to carry out nuclear blackmail against NATO countries. Bond's mission is to recover the missiles from the evil Maximilian Largo (Klaus Maria Brandauer), and he gets help from Largo's mistress Domino (Kim Bassinger) when he heads to the Bahamas in search of the missiles.

  Widowed American Dr. Matt Younger (Sidney Poitier) is visiting London with his daughter Stephanie (Yvette Curtis) when he meets Catherine (Esther Anderson) who is the daughter of African Ambassador George Oswandu (Earl Cameron). Catherine asks Matt's help in eluding a stranger who she says is stalking her. It turns out that Catherine is ill with sickle-cell anemia, and her father has hired a man to guard her. When Matt learns about Catherine's condition, he has already fallen in love with her and is willing to marry her knowing that their time together may be short.
