| | Anonymous 09/28/2009 | | Remembering this movie was made in 1949, I was charmed by the picture of life as it used to be. Walter Brennan is a character you love to hate and love to love at the same time. Natalie Wood is as charming as ever and though the story line is a bit thin and the ending predictable, it is a feel good bit of fluff . Wlater Brennan and Natalie Wood are a good combination for the black and white cinema. |
