  Retired CIA agent Sam Boyd (Gene Hackman) is called back to duty and escorts KGB agent Pyiotr Grushenko (Mikhail Baryshnikov) to trade Grushenko and $2 million for an American prisoner. On the trip across Europe to Berlin, the two agents discover that they have been set up and join forces to escape double agents from both sides of the Iron Curtain.

  Inside the Soviet Union, Nikolai (Mikhail Baryshnikov) and Raymond (Gregory Hines) plot an escape to the West. This movie is filled with intrigue, and you also get the added bonus of some great dance choreography. Lionel Ritchie wrote the Academy Award-winning song, "Say You, Say Me."
