  Tragedy struck in 1989 when an explosion in a gun turret aboard the battleship U.S.S. Iowa resulted in many men being killed or injured. The resulting investigation pointed the finger at a sailor who was despondent over a failed homosexual relationship. This is the story of that investigation, and the questions that arose concerning a possible cover-up by the Navy.
