Plans go well, until a neurotic housewife (Cate Blanchett) is taken hostage only to become their lover. She just cannot decide between them so opts for both. A fun comedy caper.

Alex does come to terms with her dreams and finds the inner strength to turn them into reality. The music makes the movie, and "Flashdance...What a Feeling" won the Academy Award for Best Song.
