In this direct-to-video sequel, Bobby and Dinger (Corey Feldman and Corey Haim) move to Hollywood and room together with Lena (Stacie Randall). But problems lie ahead when the inventor sets out to retrieve the glasses at any cost.

This film opens with a robbery attempt in which only one of the perpetrators, Johnny (Mekhi Phifer), survives. Then the story skips ahead to the end of Johnny's five-year prison sentence when he is released from jail and returns home to his dysfunctional former friends and his family. Despite the odds, Johnny tries to make a life for himself as a boxer by training with former heavyweight champ Lou (William Forsythe).
