  Ex-con Joseph (Christopher M. Brown) inherits his mother's boarding house in a high-crime section of Los Angeles, takes over the business, and signs on new tenants Charlie, Rhonda, and their teenage daughter Daphne (George Wendt, Shanna Reed, and Anastasia Sakelaris). What Joseph does not know is that Charlie and Rhonda are aliens who are vacationing on Earth and murdering muggers and gangsters in the neighborhood.

  In this sequel, Kid (Christopher Reid) is planning to marry his girlfriend Veda (Angela Means), and Play (Christopher Martin) is managing the female rap act, "Sex as a Weapon" that he books with promoter Showboat (Michael Colyar) for a show. When "Sex as a Weapon" fires Play, he knows that it will upset Showboat if they do not appear for his show and tries to find a way to get them to perform. Meanwhile, Play arranges Kid's bachelor party, and, of course, after a number of problems, the big bash does take place providing fun for all.

  Former high-school football star Curtis Plummer (Ice Cube) is down on his luck, and his sister-in-law Claire (Tasha Smith) asks him to help take care of her 11-year-daughter Jasmine ("Akeela and the Bees" Keke Palmer) while she works extra hours as a waitress. Curtis encourages Jasmine to throw his football and, after finding that she has a real talent for the sport, talks to the local Pop Warner team's Coach Fisher (Matt Craven) and he agrees to let Jasmine try out for the team. She makes the team, and soon the whole town of Minden, Illinois, is behind the team hoping that Jasmine will turn the team's spirit around and make them winners. Based on a true story.

  Orphaned as an infant, Norbit (Eddie Murphy) grew up in a Chinese restaurant/orphanage run by Mr. Wong (also Eddie Murphy) who raised him. As if his life wasn't bad enough, as an adult Norbit is bullied into a marriage to the morbidly obese and strong-willed Rasputia (also Eddie Murphy). Rasputia has taunted Norbit since they were children and now continues her efforts as a hen-pecking wife. Then, one day, Norbit is reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandie Newton), who arrives to run the orphanage. Kate is engaged to slick Deion (Cuba Gooding Jr.), and Rasputia is more than prepared to keep Kate and Norbit apart. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Makeup.    1 User Review

  not since the muppets in outerspace have I been so enthralled. eddie murphy is a genius and the woman playing Rasputia is awesome too. is that eddie murphy's sister, because she looks kinda like him. anyway, this movie rocks and everyone should see it.
