Nominations were received for Best Actor (De Niro), Supporting Actress (Meryl Streep), Writing, and Cinematography.

FBI agent Brenda Chandler (Lindsay Crouse) is on Bosworth's trail and uses Breyers as the lead she needs to find Bosworth.

Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges play two partners in crime who hid the loot in an old school house and now are out to retrieve it. There are two problems: the school building has been torn down and replaced, and their other two partners are out to get the prize for themselves. Bridges is great and he was nominated for an Oscar.
