Arthur tries to save the farm by finding his way into the magical land where he meets the King (voice of Robert De Niro) and his daughter (voice of Madonna)–a big step in Arthur's adventure in which he has three days to rescue the treasure and his grandfather. In the process, Arthur tries to prevent the evil wizard Maltazard the Cursed (voice of David Bowie) from taking over the Minimoys' land.

But, Jerry does arrive and, without knowing it, erases all the store's tapes. (His brain had been magnetized the day before when he tried to sabotage a nearby power plant.) A store regular, Miss Falewicz (Mia Farrow) comes in and threatens to tell on them if she cannot have a working copy of "Ghostbusters" by the end of the day. The solution to their problem: Mike and Jerry recreate films–including "Ghostbusters," "The Lion King," and "Back to the Future"–using themselves and neighbors as actors. The shop does a great business when the clients are thrilled with the remakes and ask for more.

Finally, Rosemary delivers a healthy baby–SATAN! Ruth Gordon won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Leonard Zelig (Woody Allen) is a man who, like a chameleon, assumes personality traits of those he encounters. Dr. Eudora Fletcher (Mia Farrow) tries to help him. Clever, as is often the case with Allen, as he uses pseudo-newsreels from the 1920s to help tell the story.
