They land, and the hilarity begins while Bernard hitches a ride with another alien ship. Some funny moments.

There is plenty of trouble awaiting them in Europe–from London where Clark must learn to drive a European car, to Paris where their camcorder is stolen, and then on to Germany to meet relatives IF they can find the correct home. All of this culminates in the camcorder thief selling erotic pictures of Ellen and then Ellen being kidnapped by other thieves. By the vacation's end, the Griswold family is very happy to return to American soil.
