Treasure (Yolonda Ross), who grew up motherless, has been in trouble with the law most of her life. She finds out that her birth mother, a hardened criminal who was thought to be dead, is a lifer in the state prison. Treasure, about to turn 21, purposely gets caught in a crime in order to go to the prison. She finds her mother, but it's not the reunion she hoped for. Made for HBO.
