  The world's best pet detective, Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey), leaves his retreat in the Himalayas when he is called away to search for the missing sacred animal of the Wachiti tribe in Africa. Ace travels with explorer Fulton Greenwall (Ian McNeice) and tries to find the white bat that has been kidnapped by the Wachootoo tribe and, hopefully, prevent a war between the feuding tribes.
