While there, they meet a younger couple, Fearless and Teresa (Sullivan Stapleton and Victoria Hill), who the boys believe are planning to adopt one of them. Now–amidst swimming, sneaking cigarettes, motorcycle riding, and playing on the beach–tensions and competition rise among the December Boys.

But, people along the way keep dying, and the mistrust between Al and Nikki grows deeper.

The plot involves Wolverine getting revenge against the villain who has been capturing members of a military team of mutants, which includes Viktor. Viktor tricks Wolverine into being injected by the evil Col. Stryker (Danny Huston) with "Adamantium" that causes his hands to sprout metal claws. Now, Wolverine sets off to put an end to the evil acts.
