  This entertaining movie produced by Steven Spielberg is all about delightful space creatures that look like household appliances coming to the rescue of an odd assortment of tenants in a building about to be torn down. Jessica Tandy and her real life husband, Hume Cronyn, make this worth watching.

The family packs up and heads East after Dad is traded to the Green Bay Packers–with Bingo following behind, having many adventures, and overcoming challenges along the way.

  It is the sixth century, and a ferocious dragon is terrorizing the English countryside where the king sacrifices virgins in exchange for peace. The villagers summon wizard Ulrich (Ralph Richardson) to come to their aid. Along with his young apprentice Galen (Peter MacNicol) and beautiful Valerian (Caitlin Clarke), Ulrich sets out to slay the dragon. But, Ulrich's abilities fail him, and it rests on Galen to confront the dragon and enter into a vicious battle. The special effects are great.
