Derek Charles (Idris Elba) is successful in business and is happily married to Sharon (Beyonce Knowles). They are enjoying their infant son Kyle (Nathan and Nicolas Myers). Then, office temp Lisa (Ali Larter) reports for work at the office and flirts with Derek. The flirting turns from harmless play to dangerous stalking, which leads Derek and Sharon to use desperate measures to defend Derek's honor and to protect themselves from Lisa's potentially deadly activities.
