Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) dreams of spending the summer at Camp Rock where she can work on her musical talent. The camp is expensive, but Mitchie's mother (Maria Canals-Barrera) agrees to work as the camp cook so that Mitchie's tuition will be discounted. Mitchie goes to camp, but she is intimidated by the other campers. Meanwhile, Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), who is the lead singer with Connect 3's, appears at camp and is enthralled with Mitchie's singing voice. Will Mitchie be able to overcome her fears and step into the spotlight?
