It is an excellent tale of the adventures pilots experience and manages to catch the spirit of one test pilot in particular: Chuck Yeager (Sam Shepard). In addition to four Oscars, nominations were received for Best Picture and Supporting Actor (Shepard) as well as two others.

Reese is surprised to find her ailing father living in the garage and his new friends–ex-grad student Shelly (Amelia Warner) and bodyguard/Christian rock singer Corbit (Will Ferrell) living in the house. Reese is shocked to find that she is the outsider in her childhood home. But there are secrets within those walls that Reese will soon learn.
