Serial Mom   1994     2 stars    R, 93 min.
Genre: Comedy / Drama / Horror
Director: John Waters
Cast: Kathleen Turner, Sam Waterston, Ricki Lake, Matthew Lillard, Scott Wesley Morgan, Walt MacPherson, Justin Whalin, Mink Stole, Traci Lords, Mary Jo Catlett, Patricia Dunnock, Lonnie Horsey, Suzanne Somers

Beverly Sutphin (Kathleen Turner) is a wonderful mother to her two children Misty and Chip (Ricki Lake and Matthew Lillard); perhaps she is a little bit compulsive in her child rearing. In reality, she is a serial killer determined to ensure protection for her family. Turner and Sam Waterston (as the husband) put on good performances in this "different" film.
