  This remake of "Little Miss Marker" features Bob Hope playing the role of Sorrowful Jones, the bookie who ends up with young Martha Jane Smith (Mary Jane Saunders) as an I.O.U. when the father does not return. Problems develop with evil gangster Big Steve Holloway (Bruce Cabot) and the stealing of horses before all ends happily. Lucille Ball is great as the mother figure Gladys O'Neill.
