Eleven-year-old Timmy's (K'Sun Ray) mother Helen (Carrie-Anne Moss) buys a zombie to use as a status symbol, and Timmy bonds with it and names it Fido (Billy Connolly) because it growls at people. Timmy's Dad (Dylan Baker) is not happy with the situation because Fido, who never complains and does one chore after another, is a better father and husband than he is. There is one slipup, however, when Fido's collar malfunctions and he mauls an elderly neighbor, Mrs. Henderson (Mary Black). Now a zombie outbreak threatens the neighborhood.
