Mother's Day is approaching, and Holly hopes that a big sale will save her boutique. The customers come, and the story revolves around women's obsessions with shopping and clothing, which are revealed when customers confess their uncontrolled shopping habits–all this and a possible romance for Holly in the form of the boyfriend (Rob Morrow) of one of the shoppers as director Henry Jaglom again deals with subjects of women and their obsessions. "Eating" (1990) and and "Babyfever" (1994) are Jaglom's previous films on these obsessions.
