Based on Graham Greene's novel, this is the story about unscrupulous British businessman Carl Schaffner (Rod Steiger) who steals company funds and then flees to Mexico with Scotland Yard fast on his heels. Schaffner boards a train for Mexico and murders fellow passenger Paul Scarff (Bill Nagy) whose passport he steals and then assumes Scarff's identity. Too late, Schaffner learns that Scarff was a fugitive from justice, and now both Scotland Yard Inspector Hadden (Bernard Lee) and a Mexican police captain (Noel Willman) are on his trail.

Peter Cushing delivers an excellent performance as Sherlock Holmes coming to the aid of Sir Henry Baskerville (Christopher Lee) who is under the spell of an evil curse. His father has been killed under mysterious circumstances, and Sir Henry asks Holmes to investigate. Holmes sends his assistant, Dr. Watson (Andre Morell) to the Baskerville estate on the Devonshire moors to look for clues. Meanwhile, Holmes hides in the moors gathering information, and, almost too late, Watson and Holmes save Sir Henry from the fate that his father suffered.

Hammer Films presents this high-seas adventure about young Jonathan Standing (Kerwin Mathews) who is exiled by his father (Andrew Keir) to a penal colony. The penal colony is invaded by pirates led by Captain LaRoche (Christopher Lee), and Jonathan leads LaRoche and his pirate ship to his Caribbean home where LaRoche believes a treasure is buried. LaRoche takes control of the town while searching for the treasure, and many are killed in the process. Finally, LaRoache finds the treasure–a gold statue of Jonathan's grandfather–and attempts to haul it away. But, Jonathan and his cohorts attack the raft, the statue falls overboard and sinks to the bottom of the sea, La Roche is killed, and the survivors return home.
