They land, and the hilarity begins while Bernard hitches a ride with another alien ship. Some funny moments.

At a time when anti-Jewish riots were commonplace, this mixed-ethnic pairing leads to nothing but problems. This film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Film.
