The Invisible Avenger 1958 N/R, 60 min. Genre: Action / Drama aka: Bourbon St. Shadows
Director: James Wong Howe, Ben Parker, John Sledge Cast: Richard Derr, Mark Daniels, Helen Westcott, Jeanne Neher, Dan Mullin, Lee Edwards, Jack Doner, Steve Dano, Leo Bruno, Sam Page, Jan Carr
The popular radio program "The Shadow" is brought to the screen with Richard Derr in the role of superdetective Lamont Cranston/The Shadow who can "cloud men's minds" so that he is invisible. This is an unsold pilot for a TV series that did not spawn the series–partly because of the low budget and poor production values. Cranston investigates the murder of a Latin American dictator in New Orleans. It turns out that the dictator faked his murder in order to bring the true leader out in the open so he could be killed. Rereleased four years later as "Bourbon St. Shadows" with additional material added.

Director: John English Cast: Gene Autry, Jean Heather, Ralph Morgan, Carol Thurston, Iron Eyes Cody, Jay Silverheels, Mark Daniels, Robert Blake, Russ Vincent, Trevor Bardette
Gene Autry's nasty job is to get the Indians relocated from a barren stretch of land, which is to be used for a new aqueduct. Needless to say, the Indians don't take too well to another relocation. Several songs break the tension, including "Comin' Round the Mountain."

Lots of action at sea in this story centered on brothers Bob (Charles Bickford) and Jim (Tom Brown), who don't see eye-to-eye on many subjects. An emergency surgery at sea and a captain (Barton MacLane), who was responsible for the death of a friend of Jim's, help keep your attention.
