  The British defeat by the Russians in the 1854 battle at Balaclava, Turkey, during the Crimean War is the subject of this anti-war film. Seeking glory, Lord Cardigan (Trevor Howard) leads his Light Brigade on a mission to gain a victory over Russian troops. But, when the battle begins, wrong decisions are made by incompetent officers that prove disastrous when they find themselves in the middle of Russian forces.

But rest doesn't come due to a young blond boy, Tadzio (Bjorn Andresen), who is traveling with his family. Aschenbach obsesses over Tadzio because Tadzio represents youth and physical perfection. Aschenbach knows he can never attain that perfection and quietly dies on the beach. Adapted from the Thomas Mann novel.

Demolition experts LCDR Fallon (Richard Harris) and Charlie Braddock (David Hemmings) are flown in by helicopter to disarm the bombs. Meanwhile, Scotland yard detective John McLeod (Anthony Hopkins), whose family is aboard the ship, searches for the bomber. A good thriller.

One day, while on a walk Yvette meets a free-spirited Gypsy (Franko Nero) at his camp and is sexually attracted to him. The Gypsy just may provide the freedom that Yvette longs for from her family's oppressive lifestyle.
