  Rod Kimble's (Andy Samberg) father was Evil Knievel's assistant, but he died testing a stunt when Rod was a baby. Time has passed, and Rod is an adult dreaming of being like his father. Now, Rod's stepfather Frank (Ian McShane) needs a heart transplant, and Rod decides to raise the money by jumping his moped over 15 buses. To accomplish his daredevil feat, Rod gathers together his crew–Denise (Isla Fisher), Kevin (Jorma Taccone), Dave (Bill Hader), and Rico (Danny R. McBride)–and sets his plan in motion.
