The authorities of a European country are frustrated in their efforts to catch master criminal Diabolik (John Phillip Law) who, with his girlfriend/assistant Eva (Marisa Mell), continues to pull of big heists while killing anyone in his way. The police minister finally makes a deal with the underworld to help in the chase as Diabolik becomes a hero to the population through his exploits.
