An American doctor, Shane Brown (Vincent Gallo), and his bride, June (Tricia Vessey) are honeymooning in Paris when June learns that Shane refuses to consummate their marriage. It seems he has this fear that if he has sex with June he will devour her in an act of cannibalism. Seeking help, Shane tracks down a colleague, Dr. Leo Semineau (Alex Descas). But, it turns out that Leo's wife, Core (Beatrice Dalle), shares Shane's affliction and must be locked up in her own home to prevent her doing harm to unsuspecting souls. Could Shane and Core both be victims of Leo's experiments with the human libido?
