Max Dugan Returns 1983  PG, 98 min.

This Neil Simon comedy does have its good moments, but it is not one of Simon's best. The plot revolves around a financially struggling and widowed schoolteacher Nora McPhee (Marsha Mason) whose ex-cop father, Max Dugan (Jason Robards), arrives at her home with a suitcase full of money with which he begins buying gifts.
