In the second story, "Rappaccini's Daughter," a demented father (Vincent Price) inoculates his daughter with a poison so that she will never leave him. Finally, in "The House of Seven Gables," Gerald Pyncheon (Vincent Price) returns home to search for a vault hidden in the estate–despite the fact that the vault contains a curse that has caused the deaths of Pyncheon men over the last 100 years.
