When Victor (Douglas Henshall) meets Spanish trash men Don Miguel (Eusebio Lazaro) and Rafael (Gustavo Salmeron), who can magically turn back time, Victor gets a second chance to correct previous mistakes with his ex-girlfriend, Sylvia (Lena Headey). Sylvia is scheduled to marry Dave (Mark Strong) in 48 hours, and Victor, who has now gone back in time, plots unsuccessfully to prevent Sylvia from ever meeting Dave. But, when Victor meets beautiful barmaid Louise (Penelope Cruz), the situation changes.
