In an effort to upstage the other acts, nightclub performer Kiki Walker (Jean Brooks) uses a leashed leopard in her own act. But when the leopard escapes, people are found dead, and the leopard is blamed. Kiki and her manager, Jerry Manning (Dennis O'Keefe), begin to question that the leopard is doing the killing and investigate other possibilities.
