This multi-faceted story involves 30-year-old friends who are not quite sure of how to deal with the fact that they are now at the age when others are settling down and raising families. Carlo (Stefano Accorsi) learns that his girlfriend Giulia (Giovanna Mezzogiorno) is pregnant and is not sure that he wants to marry her. Paolo (Claudio Santamaria) has problems about joining his father in business. Meanwhile, Adriano (Giorgio Pasotti) and his wife Livia (Sabrina Impacciatore) have a new baby, and Adriano is having trouble adjusting to fatherhood. And then there is Alberto (Marco Cocci) whose only ties to women are sexual. They all find their own unique answers to their dilemmas.
