Director: Mark Jonathan Harris
Cast: Morgan Freeman, Edward Asner, Sean Astin, Martin Landau, Miriam Margolyes, David Paymer, Nina Siemaszko, Helen Slater, Michael York, Richard Amend, Kathryn Cressida, Curt Lowens, Marc Lynn, Walter Cronkite, Menachem Begin
Narrated by Morgan Freeman, this film won an Academy Award for Best Documentary. It is an insightful view of the Jews who had been held in concentration camps by the Nazis, and, after release, the hardships continued until the formation of a homeland. Told from interviews and actual films of the times, this is an excellent historical presentation.
