Hasso has stolen a map showing the location of a valuable oil location, and he is now pursued by Eric Molinar (Walter Slezak) and his thugs who want the map. Molinar kills Hasso to get the map, but, unbeknownst to Hammer, the map has been hidden in Hammer's office. Now the thugs wreck Hammer's office looking for the map. When that search fails, they beat up Hammer who has no idea of where the map is. The question is whether or not Maxine is really on Hammer's side in this story of intrigue.
