Vince Carden (Telly Savalas) and his wife Martha (Arlene Dahl) live in the Arizona-territory town of Forge River. With government agents trying to bring peace, Vince's problems mount when his estranged brother Paul (George Maharis) arrives on the scene, and a showdown between the brothers is inevitable.
