Based on two of Frank Baum's later volumes from the "Oz" series, in this story Dorothy (Fairuza Balk) is back in Kansas, and Aunt Em (Piper Laurie) sends her to therapy to rid her of her memories of Oz. Dorothy takes her medicine but awakens in Oz where everything has changed. Now her task is fixing the problems, which are caused by the evil Gnome King (Nicol Williamson).
