In this second sequel in the "Rambo" series, John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) leaves his monastery in Thailand and heads for Afghanistan. His mission is to fight ruthless Soviet Col. Zaysen (Marc de Jonge) who has captured Rambo's friend, Col. Trautman (Richard Crenna). Rambo finds allies in the Mujahedeen rebels who lead him across high cliffs and desert mountains around the border in Afghanistan and help him in his attempt to rescue Trautman from Zaysen's clutches. Once again, Rambo lives up to his reputation in this exciting movie.
