Jacob takes the trip to Copenhagen and meets with Jorgen who now wants to discuss the financing at his daughter Anna's (Stine Fischer Christensen) wedding the next day. At the wedding, Jacob and Jorgen's wife Helene (Sidse Babett Knudsen) appear to have a connection, but it is not until the wedding toast that past, present, and future come together. An Oscar nomination was received for Best Foreign Language Film.
