In a comedy of errors, Kay Kyser is recruited by the Army to help in espionage work. An espionage group is suspected to be taking cover in the nightclub where Kyser's band plays, and his job is to infiltrate the gang. Kyser was recently married to Terry (Ellen Drew), and she is unhappy with their separation and becomes suspicious of Kyser's involvement with secret agent Connie (Jane Wyman). Lots of slapstick moments ensue. Comedian great Harold Lloyd was the producer.
