Bay of Blood 1971 R, 82 min. Genre: Horror / Thriller / Mystery aka: Last House on the Left, Part II Carnage Twitch of the Death Nerve
Director: Mario Bava Cast: Claudine Auger, Luigi Pistilli, Claudio Camaso, Anna Maria Rosati, Chris Avram, Leopoldo Trieste, Laura Betti, Brigitte Skay, Isa Miranda, Paola Montenero, Guido Boccaccini, Roberto Bonanni, Giovanni Nuvoletti, Renato Cestie, Nicoletta Elmi
Director Mario Bava is at his gruesome "best" as killings are accomplished in every manner possible, and the film may still hold the record for body count. It also inspired many slasher movies to follow, including the "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th" series. Oh, there is a plot of sorts: a fight for the inheritance of land on the bay.

This is one of the best of the so-called spaghetti Westerns. Silence (Jean-Louis Trintignant) is mute due to his throat being cut by ruthless bounty hunters. Now he's on the trail of a mean group of them who were hired by the corrupt sheriff of a Utah town. Overall, a good movie–especially the scenery (shot in the Pyrenees).
