Matters change after Skeeter spends a week babysitting for his sister Wendy's (Courteney Cox) children Patrick and Bobbi (Jonathan Morgan Heit and Laura Ann Kesling). Skeeter entertains them with bedtime stories in which he fantasizes about a better life. Amazingly, the stories come true, and Skeeter tries to use the stories for his own personal gain. Then he learns that it is the children's contributions to the stories that end up coming true, and Patrick and Bobbi have much to do with Skeeter's good–and bad–fortunes.
