Richard Burton portrays Baron von Sepper who has killed off his wives (among them are Raquel Welch, Nathalie Delon, Virna Lisi, and Marilu Tolo) by different, unique methods. His current wife (Joey Heatherton) has found the frozen bodies in a vault and figures out how they had died. She tries to get the Baron to talk about them and, in the process, find a way to save her own life.
