Sabata (Lee Van Cleef) rides into town, tracks down the robbers, and collects the reward. Then he realizes that Stengel was behind the theft and attempts to blackmail him, which leads Stengel to hire assassins to kill Sabata. But, Sabata outwits them, kills Stengel, and rides out of town. This spaghetti Western spawned two sequels, "Adios, Sabata" and "The Return of Sabata."
