When Coogan arrives, bureaucratic NYPD detective Lieutenant McElroy (Lee J. Cobb) tells Coogan that Rengerman is in Bellevue Hospital following an acid trip and is not ready to be transported back to Arizona. Coogan takes matters into his own hands and heads for the hospital, manages to get Ringerman released, and leaves for the airport with his prisoner. But, on the way to the airport, Ringerman's hippie girlfriend Linny (Tisha Sterling) waylays Coogan, and this allows Ringerman to escape. Coogan tracks Linny to a psychedelic club, and his adventures in the Big City continue as he deals not only with police bureaucracy but with drugs and hippies as well.    1 User Review
