Struggling, Atlantic City casino worker Sally (Susan Sarandon) becomes a partner with aging gangster Lou (Burt Lancaster) in a plot to make some easy money through the selling of drugs. Lou steps in and saves Sally and, at the same time, proves to himself that he still has gangster skills.
